I don't know how to dress myself

I have a confession to make... I have no fucking clue how to dress myself.

I act like I do. I know how to put my pants on and I know how to button up my shirts but I don't really think I know how to put together an outfit. Aren't all 33 year olds supposed to know how to do this by now?

Here's the thing thought - I don't think that even the most stylish of people believe that they know what the hell they are doing. I think they just do it. Like Nike says, they just do it.

Deep down we all know what is comfortable to us. We all believe we have a good understand of what we find stylish or at the very least makes us feel good.

I'd like to suggest that this, in fact, is how you dress yourself properly. If you like wearing khaki chinos with camouflage t-shirts then that's what you should wear because that's what is going to make you feel amazing.

If you like wearing salmon (not pink) button up shirts with bright neon-green shorts then hell, my man, you should go with your bad self.

Ultimately, I don't think any of us feels like we have a clue about style, fashion, trends, fads, the difference between any of those but in truth, I think it doesn't matter.

Hi, I'm Nic and I don't have a clue how to dress myself. Every day I wake and throw on whatever is in my cupboard and hope it works out OK.

Most of the time it does. Some of the time it doesn't. A lot of the time I feel like I don't fit in but I am almost certain that everyone else feels the same and that means they are not looking at me. They're worrying about how they look instead.
