We use incredible bamboo fibres to make our socks. The bamboo content varies from about 70% to 90% depending on the sock design. The heel and toe are however cotton for durability and strength.
Bamboo is a soft and delicate fiber. You should was our t-shirts in a COLD WASH and FLAT DRY THEM (NO TUMBLE DRY). Our socks should be washed in a gentle wash, preferably also a cold wash and the same applies to our underwear. None of our products should every be tumble dried. Heat damages sensitive fabrics like silk, cashmere and bamboo.
Yes, the underwear we make is also made using bamboo. We did our very first run of underwear from cotton and then switched to what we love, bamboo!

It is recommended that the socks be washed on a delicate machine setting, and a low temperature. Or you can do it by hand if you're so inclined.
No, tumble drying is not recommended as it can affect the shape and fit of the socks.
Yes. When checking out, use the shipping address as the delivery address of the recipient. Then on the payment method page, select 'Use a different billing address' to add your information.

Nic Harry uses the Payfast and InstantEFT for South African customers and Paypal for international customers to enable immediate payment for your order. For South African customers you will need to have 3D Secure activated on your card. If you don’t know what 3D secure is, please see the next help topic.
3D Secure provides VISA and MasterCard cardholders an extra layer of protection when purchasing online.

Visa’s product is called “Verified by Visa” and MasterCard’s is called “SecureCode”.

South African banks have now made this security step mandatory to protect you against unauthorized use of your card for online transactions.

Already Registered?

You will be prompted with a screen requesting a one time PIN (OTP), which is sent to your cell phone, or a PIN/password you have chosen beforehand.

Not registered?

If you are a first time e-commerce shopper, or your card has not been registered, you will be prompted with a screen asking you to register for 3D secure. Just follow the on-screen prompts, its easy!

If you’re having trouble authenticating or registering with 3D Secure, please contact your bank.
Once payment has been confirmed you will receive an electronic receipt. This receipt is proof that we have received your order.
No, you can place an order without registering. However, a Nic Harry account is necessary for subscription sign ups so that you can track your subscriptions and manage them should you wish to cancel.

To change the card attached to your subscription, please follow these steps
  1. Login to your PayFast account
  2. Select Subscriptions at the Transactions tab
  3. Change the status to All and search
  4. Click on the "link card" icon for the subscription you wish to update
  5. Add new card and enter the necessary details and update
  6. Once you have added the new card, be sure that a green tick is next to your new card (if not select the card and click update)
